College baseball rankings: 2023 Top 25 poll

We've made it the postseason, with conference tournaments getting underway this week, and there is still plenty left to prove for a handful of teams bidding to get into the NCAA tournament.

Wake Forest remains No. 1 after winning its weekend series against Virginia Tech, though the Demon Deacons did drop the third game of the series. Florida has been steadily climbing, and after winning its series vs. Kentucky, claimed a share of the SEC regular-season title and now ranks at No. 2.

Key game last week: Vanderbilt 7, Arkansas 6. This game wasn't necessarily a key game for for Arkansas or Vanderbilt for that matter -- though Vandy climbed into the top 10 this week after winning this series -- but it mattered for Florida. The Gators were hoping for a Razorbacks loss in their third game of their series against the Commodores, because that would give them a share of the SEC regular-season title. Arkansas had already claimed its share, so after beating Kentucky, Florida eagerly awaited the result of this game, and with a three-run home run from Troy LaNeve, Vandy edged out Arkansas.

Key game to watch: SEC baseball tournament championship (3 p.m. ET Sunday on ESPN2). The SEC has been exciting as ever to watch. With LSU suffering a late-season stumble in the rankings and losing out on an SEC regular-season title, the Tigers are going to be hungry to win the tournament. However, every other team in the SEC is really finding its footing at the right time, with Kentucky getting some late wins and Alabama staying strong amid its head coach being fired. It'll be thrilling to see who makes it to the end.

Key player to watch: Dylan Campbell, Texas. Campbell had strong performances for the Longhorns in their series against West Virginia to help secure the Big 12 regular-season title. On Saturday, he homered as he went 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs. On Sunday, he was 2-for-4 as he had 1 RBI. He's on a roll, and he extended his program record hitting streak to 33 games, so we'll be dialed in when he plays in the Big 12 tournament this week.

Play of the week: Jonah Cox really put everything out there to make this catch for Oral Roberts.
