Wolverines restock at tight end

The tight end position rarely was used during Rich Rodriguez's tenure at Michigan, and as a result it was not heavily sought after on the recruiting trail. That's not a knock on Rodriguez; his offense just didn't call for it.

New offensive coordinator Al Borges does prefer to use tight ends in his pro-style set, though, and unfortunately he has been left with few options at the position.

Starting tight end Kevin Koger has graduated. Brandon Moore and converted wide receiver Ricardo Miller are holding down the fort, and they have a combined two catches in their collegiate careers.
