When the latest ESPN 150 and ESPN 300 rankings were released for the class of 2013, it showed what many already knew: Incoming Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is one of the top recruiters in the country.
And while he has a reputation for drawing in top offensive talent, his top two commitments so far are on defense.
Of the 11 commitments, two are ranked in the top 20, six in the top 150 and 10 in the top 300.
The results have the Buckeyes initially ranked No. 7 in the nation. Though it's not the No. 1 status Michigan picked up, Ohio State still has plenty of spots open for the 2013 class, while the Wolverines are winding down, with 21 already committed.
