"Akmal is certainly making up for those dropped catches. This is impressive" writes in Justin from Australia - couldn't agree more Justin, you said it. Villain to hero in the space of two hours.

South Africa would have fancied their chance when they had Pakistan pinned down at 92 for 5 but an amazing partnership between Younis Khan and Akmal which produced 101 runs in 19.1 overs at an impressive rate of 5.26 sealed the game for Pakistan.

Younis Khan provided the stability. To start with Akmal was scratchy and on more than one occasion he came close to throwing away his wicket, but once he got some runs under his belt he played some stunning shots and the mighty South African bowling line up and their game plan just wilted away into oblivion. In the end it turned out to be a comprehensive victory and more importantly a series leveling win.

Man of the Match - Inzamam-ul-Haq.

It was fun calling the game, I hope you have enjoyed our coverage. From Will Luke, the man and not the question - Bookie friendly Jenny Thompson - Andrew Gnasher McGlashan - Bearded beast Sriram Veera and Myself Sajan Nair, the poor mortal, it's good bye and good luck.
