- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR7.3 Splat! Leach strikes with a beauty! Perfection from the left-armer, round the wicket again, finding the ideal drift and drop before straightening the ball from an off-stump line, into the top of that self-same stump, past a half-formed defensive push. Pakistan's opening stand is over! 15/155.6 oh gone! Ayub pops one straight to short mid-off! Stokes throws the ball in the air in celebration, he's managed to conjure a wicket just before the break. Potts is the beneficiary, plugging away outside off, and after almost four hours without putting a foot wrong, Ayub fails to stay over the ball and simply pushes it straight into the hands of the fielder 168/39.4 flicked in the air, Crawley scoops it up at short midwicket! Stokes' attacking field pays dividends again, but that's a poor shot, hard-handed from Masood. It didn't really turn, he just went too firmly at the angle into his pads, and the man was waiting to snap the trap shut, with a well-judged swoop! 19/284.2 bowled 'im! Ghulam won't make it to the close. A top innings from the debutant comes to an end as he runs down the pitch at Bashir. He ends up playing inside the line, the ball just tickling off the leg bail - would have been stumped by a distance had it gone straight into the keeper's gloves. The spectators in the ground rise to applaud Ghulam, as do his team-mates in the dressing room. A fine, fine effort from the new boy 243/560.5 fuller length, finds the edge, sharp take from Smith! Carse has the wicket, 140kph is some effort on this pitch, and it's the extra bounce that does for Saud. Just pushing a touch too hard outside his eyeline. Smith had to reach behind him to complete the take to his left, that properly zipped through! 178/492.6 hits that pitch hard again, a hint of jag off the surface, climbs into the splice as it shapes in, and Smith snaffles a brilliant take, leaping to his right and clinging on for a priceless early wicket! 264/6100.6 Extra bounce outside off, and there's the error from Salman! He opened the face once more, looking to fillet that deep third boundary again, but the ball got big on him, Smith snaffles another flying edge, and a dangerous innings is done! 302/7117.1 castled! Wow, that's a welcome back to the Pleasuredom! Full length, tight line, skidded off the shiny side and nipped back through the gate! Jamal toppled forward in a bid to save his stumps but was in no position to resist. Superb bowling 358/9103.5 full ball around off. Tempted to go over the top of cover but doesn't have the elevation. Simple chance for short cover, who keeps his eyes on the ball, and takes a smart catch to his right. Man was positioned superbly by the captain and bowler there. Pays dividends. 309/8123.3 hoisted high, out to deep midwicket! Carse backpedals, holds on a metre inside the rope, and that ends a very disciplined bowling effort from England. It's hard yakka out there, but the backslaps imply England are very happy with that 366/10Extras12 (b 4, lb 3, nb 2, w 3)TOTAL366 all out (123.3 Overs, RR: 2.96)Fall of wickets: 1-15 (Abdullah Shafique, 7.3 ov), 2-19 (Shan Masood, 9.4 ov), 3-168 (Saim Ayub, 55.6 ov), 4-178 (Saud Shakeel, 60.5 ov), 5-243 (Kamran Ghulam, 84.2 ov), 6-264 (Mohammad Rizwan, 92.6 ov), 7-302 (Salman Agha, 100.6 ov), 8-309 (Sajid Khan, 103.5 ov), 9-358 (Aamer Jamal, 117.1 ov), 10-366 (Noman Ali, 123.3 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR12.1 chance! Noman is interested in a caught behind. First slip too. Umpire says no and Pakistan review. This was a full ball outside off that turned away with Crawley trying to drive away from his body. Ball close to the bat... is there any edge though? Yes, indeed, there is. Thick edge and Noman strikes with a ball that turns away. The partnership ends at 73 73/143.1 pouched by first slip! Full ball outside off. In the rough, turning away. Duckett tries to flay a drive through the off side but the extra turn induces the edge instead. 224/423.3 response! Through the gates! Pope tries to drive against the turn, and the ball zips in, from outside off after hitting the footmarks. Sharp turn in and Pope pays the price of driving when he should've looked to defend. Out just when he was looking to blossom 125/241.3 dragged on! Sajid has two - and this is Root gone! Full ball, bit wider outside off. He got low to play a sweep from way outside off, but the ball gets a bottom edge and crashes onto the stumps 211/343.6 Brook has been castled! Offspinner is ripping through England late in the day. Length ball outside off. Brook backs way exposing his stumps trying to play at the ball turning in. But he misses his attempted poke, and the ball has smashed the stumps. 225/544.2 short leg with a smart take! Dives to his right and completes the grab. Full ball just outside off. Stokes goes inside his crease to fend Ball takes an inside edge onto his pads and then balloons towards Abdullah Shafique under the helmet 225/660.6 Smith comes... and Smith goes! Huge launch into the sky but it lands in the hands of a fielder. England are almost cooked! Smith realised he need to be the one to push the scoreboard on, attacking the last ball of the over, but he is done by some drop and turn and holes out to long-off. Noman has his 50th Test wicket, England nine down 262/957.2 Carse holes out... and Sajid has five! England lose their seventh, with Carse looking skittish and trying to hit his way out of trouble. Jumped down, got a good connection - but unfortunately couldn't have picked out the man at long-on better. Shakeel holds the catch and Sajid has his moment, celebrated with what looks like Shikhar Dhawan's Gabbar pose 248/759.4 cleaned bowled through the legs, Sajid has another! Potts in a right tangle here and England's collapse against spin continues. Sharp turn from wide of off, similar to the ball that did for Harry Brook... though Potts was completely befuddled as he walked across and saw the ball scoot through him into middle stump. A nutmeg that Lionel Messi would have been proud of 256/867.2 Seven-up for Saj! Bashir toe-ends a sweep straight to short midwicket and England's innings is done. Another slap of thigh, a twinkle in his eye, and Sajid Khan will lead his team-mates off after a remarkable return to the Test side 291/10Extras12 (b 7, lb 1, nb 4)TOTAL291 all out (67.2 Overs, RR: 4.32)Fall of wickets: 1-73 (Zak Crawley, 12.1 ov), 2-125 (Ollie Pope, 23.3 ov), 3-211 (Joe Root, 41.3 ov), 4-224 (Ben Duckett, 43.1 ov), 5-225 (Harry Brook, 43.6 ov), 6-225 (Ben Stokes, 44.2 ov), 7-248 (Brydon Carse, 57.2 ov), 8-256 (Matthew Potts, 59.4 ov), 9-262 (Jamie Smith, 60.6 ov), 10-291 (Shoaib Bashir, 67.2 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR5.3 sharp take down the leg-side from Smith, who whips off the bails... England are interested in the flick of Shafique's bat... Stokes reviews. It's close to the bat, but the hip too... certainly looks like a deflection, but off what? Ultra-Edge keeps everyone on tenterhooks... Shafique is looking very nervous to be fair... That looks like a murmur of bat! The third umpire agrees! There was some interference on the polygraph, which required some close analysis, but the biggest spike was as ball passed the splice 9/114.6 edged and gone again! Huge, huge moment in this Test! Ayub leant forward to the fuller length, more sharp spin from very close to his front-foot push, it was slower through the air, dipping on the batter, and once again it's that second slip / gully who grabs the chance! Shoaib has his third out of three, and England are right in the mix on an enthralling morning 43/39.5 fuller length, finds the edge! Bashir has his second, and he's rewarded for drawing Masood forward. Looking to work the ball across the line, but he closed the face too soon, and the second of the two slips was waiting to close the deal! 25/220.5 arm ball, beats him on the inside edge, given! Was Ghulam outside the line...? He's going to review and will shall see. He flexed his knee into a big front-foot stride after the ball had hit his pads - but was plumb in front of off when impact came! Three reds for Ghulam, ball-tracking has it homing in on middle stump, and Leach has his first of the innings. Pakistan nerves a-jangling again! 77/442.4 tossed up full on the stumps, Shakeel misses with a sweep... Chris Gaffaney shakes his head, but his expression leaves room for doubt. Was it pitching in line? Was there any bat/glove? England are going to review in an attempt to find out. The ball slides under the bat, hits the front pad low down... and ball-tracking says it would have hit middle stump! Gaffaney has to raise his finger this time around and England have a big breakthrough straight after tea 145/631.5 full length again, hard-handed jab to slip! Carse makes the breakthrough and it's such a crucial moment! Wider line but angling in again, Root is under the lid at a very close slip, to ensure the edge carries, but that's straight into his midriff. Vital wicket, and the tide turns again! 114/558.2 hits the pitch again, spliced pull to midwicket! Carse gets his man in the end but what a knock that has been! Salman couldn't time his swing, that was high on the blade and lobbed to Stokes at a catching midwicket. He rode his luck in that over of two drops, but since then, he has compiled an innings that might as well have been a century, for the impact it could have on this contest 221/944.6 bowled 'im! Fizzed into off stump with Jamal playing back, Leach has another! Quicker ball, no turn this time and it rattles the timber. Looked for a second as if Jamal had chopped on but I think he was just done for pace (and probably should have been forward) 150/746.1 gottim first ball! Flighted offbreak from round the wicket, spins away to snog the edge and nestle in the hands of slip! Bashir has his fourth and Pakistani jitters in the Multan region might be increasing in magnitude! 156/859.2 hits the pitch hard, flicks the gloves! A simple deflection through to Smith, who this time makes no mistake. Sajid's mighty innings is done, but now his real work begins 221/10Extras17 (b 9, lb 5, nb 3)TOTAL221 all out (59.2 Overs, RR: 3.72)Fall of wickets: 1-9 (Abdullah Shafique, 5.3 ov), 2-25 (Shan Masood, 9.5 ov), 3-43 (Saim Ayub, 14.6 ov), 4-77 (Kamran Ghulam, 20.5 ov), 5-114 (Mohammad Rizwan, 31.5 ov), 6-145 (Saud Shakeel, 42.4 ov), 7-150 (Aamer Jamal, 44.6 ov), 8-156 (Noman Ali, 46.1 ov), 9-221 (Salman Agha, 58.2 ov), 10-221 (Sajid Khan, 59.2 ov)
- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR3.2 superb flight, Crawley is stuffed! Drawn out of the pitch, looking for the drive as the ball loops up above his eyeline, but it then dropped like a stone, got him reaching in desperation which in turn toppled him out of his crease, and Rizwan whipped off the bails! 11/20.3 swept to his doom! Duckett saw that first ripper and decided there was no time to waste, kneeling into a massive mow from outside off, but the extra bounce from the new ball leads to a steepling top-edge, Rizwan rushes round to short leg with the gloves, and that is England holed beneath the waterline! 1/112.2 into the mix, and into the wickets! Pope pops up a caught and bowled, and out comes the Sajid thigh-slap-and-point-to-the-sky! Pakistan's outre offie is on the board with his second ball, a flighty grenade, 79kph and biting into the pitch. Pope was looking to punch down the ground but it spun enough to take the inside half of the bat and loop back for a simple catch 37/315.3 stretching out to sweep, hit on the body - given! Was Root outside the line? He asks for the review but I'm not sure it will save him. Impact is umpire's call, hitting the top of off - Root's a goner! Noman prises out the big wicket and England are sinking fast, Bazball or no Bazball 55/419.3 flatter, staying low, Brook hit on the back pad hoicking across the line! Up goes the finger but he reviews, more in hope than expectation. This looked pretty out on first glance, and ball-tracking only confirms it! Smashing into leg stump, up goes Chris Gaffaney's finger again. Pakistan are halfway there 78/527.2 flings his bat away to midwicket, and Rizwan does the rest! An ignominous heap of a dismissal for Stokes! He changed his plans, gave Noman the charge, lost his bearings as the bowler did him in flight, and was so nearly bowled leg stump before Rizwan held his composure and flicked off the bails! The bat utterly soared, by the way... the ball didn't! 125/721.6 swept up and swept away, Noman has another! Smith goes for the slog-sweep again but Noman slowed his pace a touch, got the ball to drop and then bounce, taking the top edge for a steepler towards mid-on. Masood holds it safely and England's tumble towards defeat gathers pace 88/631.3 huge hack, plops straight to slip! Carse galloped to the pitch, Noman beat him in flight as he did so, the ball dropped like a stone past his wipe across the line... and somehow ended up at slip... Carse reviews, but that's straight off the edge. Curious! 138/833.2 flight and dip, jabbed to short leg! This has been sent upstairs, but that looked like an inside-edge to the naked eye. Turning back into the pads from a middle-and-leg line, a clear spike on Ultra-Edge, and that will be Noman's ten-for! Beautifully paced flight and guile from the left-armer 144/933.3 popped up and gone first ball! Bashir hands Noman his eighth of the innings and 11th of the match! Utter scenes for the Pakistanis, who have squared this series in wonderful style! Bashir lunged forward with hard hands, and Shafique was in close under the helmet at silly point to mop up the resistance 144/10Extras5 (b 3, lb 2)TOTAL144 all out (33.3 Overs, RR: 4.29)Fall of wickets: 1-1 (Ben Duckett, 0.3 ov), 2-11 (Zak Crawley, 3.2 ov), 3-37 (Ollie Pope, 12.2 ov), 4-55 (Joe Root, 15.3 ov), 5-78 (Harry Brook, 19.3 ov), 6-88 (Jamie Smith, 21.6 ov), 7-125 (Ben Stokes, 27.2 ov), 8-138 (Brydon Carse, 31.3 ov), 9-144 (Jack Leach, 33.2 ov), 10-144 (Shoaib Bashir, 33.3 ov)
