  • Hockey: Harmanpreet Singh was sold for a record 78 lakh in Day 1 of the Hockey India League auction, with 54 players sold and 16.885 Cr spent.

  • Badminton: Tanya Hemanth won her third women's singles title at Bendigo International Challenge in Australia.
