The fantasy community is getting much better at discerning how much of a pitcher's result is due to skill (or lack thereof) and how much is simple happenstance. The fact that a pitcher has, at best, limited control over the fate of a batted ball has forever altered the way we look at the game of baseball and has implications that transcend deep into the fantasy realm.
