Russell Wilson's fantasy owners were in shock yesterday. He had posted 22 or more points in three straight games and was headed into a matchup against a Tampa Bay secondary that came into the contest ranked 28th in vertical yards allowed per attempt (12.8 on passes traveling 11 or more yards downfield).
Those factors pointed toward another 22-plus point performance, but Wilson ended up with a meager 10 fantasy points despite rushing for 80 yards (the seventh-highest single-game rushing total of his career).
So why wasn't Wilson able to take fuller advantage of this matchup? And can he turn things around for the final fantasy regular-season game in Week 13 and in the fantasy playoffs?
