Stat Stories: Friday's standout fantasy WNBA performers (1:16)

Check out the top performers in fantasy WNBA on Friday, including Angel Reese, Dearica Hamby, Napheesa Collier and Courtney Williams. (1:16)

Each day of the WNBA season, our team of fantasy and betting experts breaks down every game on the schedule, making note of everything from injuries and lineup changes to recent trends and more.

Here's what to look for today:

Saturday's WNBA slate only features two games, but everyone will be watching the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty face off for the first time since the 2023 Finals. Las Vegas ended their three-game losing streak on Thursday against the Phoenix Mercury but have struggled defensively this season. Meanwhile, the Liberty are currently on a seven-game winning streak.

Saturday's fantasy stream team

Tyasha Harris, G, Connecticut Sun (rostered in 26.1% of ESPN leagues)

Harris provides fantasy managers with exposure to a Sun team that ranks fourth in offensive rating. She has played 29 or more minutes in five consecutive games and scored 25 or more fantasy points in three of those five games. Harris should find success against a Wings team that ranks 10th in defensive rating.

Alysha Clark, F, Las Vegas Aces (30.7%)

Clark has averaged only 13.0 fantasy points over the past four games, but she has played 27 or more minutes in three of those four. As a starter for an Aces team that ranks second in offensive rating, she will be busy on Saturday against a Liberty team with the second-best record in the league. Since the Aces have so much talent on its roster, Clark has a lower fantasy ceiling than Harris.

Connecticut Sun at Dallas Wings
1 p.m. ET, College Park Center, Arlington, Texas

Line: Sun -6.5

Money line: Sun (-290), Wings (+230)
Total: 158.5 points

BPI prediction:
Sun: 55.7% chance to win.
Projected margin of victory: 1.6 points

Injury report
Sun: Moriah Jefferson (Day-To-Day)
Wings: Natasha Howard (Out), Satou Sabally (Out), Jaelyn Brown (Out)

Best bet: Sun -6.5.

The Sun are clearly the superior team. Connecticut ranks in the top four in both offensive and defensive rating, boasting the best record in the league at 11-1. On the other hand, the Wings are struggling. Dallas has a 3-8 record, ranking sixth in offensive rating but a dismal 10th in defensive rating. They also have trouble finishing games, are currently on a six-game losing streak and have gone 1-5 against the spread over that span.

In contrast, the Sun are 5-2 against the spread over their past seven road games against the Wings. All signs point to another dominant performance for Connecticut.

New York Liberty at Las Vegas Aces
3 p.m. ET, Michelob Ultra Arena, Las Vegas

Line: Aces -2.5
Money line: Liberty (+110), Aces (-130)
Total: 172.5 points

BPI prediction:
Aces: 58.3% chance to win.
Projected margin of victory: 2.3 points

Injury report
Liberty: Courtney Vandersloot (Out), Nyara Sabally (Out)
Aces: Chelsea Gray (Out), Kierstan Bell (Out)

Best bet: Liberty +2.5.

I understand why the Aces are favored. They are playing at home and are the defending champions. However, their defensive struggles (9th in defensive rating) might hurt them against an offensively talented Liberty team. Las Vegas has struggled to cover in games this season, going 3-8 against the spread. The Liberty should be able to cover this number and have the potential to even win outright.
