Cristiano Ronaldo got more than he bargained for while filming a couple of promos for the launch of his new line of football boots.
Little did Ronaldo know that the event had been infiltrated by his good pal Ricardo Quaresma who, by employing a willing accomplice, decided to use the occasion to scare the living daylights out of his national teammate.
Thankfully, the whole thing was documented on Ronaldo's Instagram account.

Quaresma then owned up to being the evil mastermind behind the stunt in a video message posted to Ronaldo on Twitter.

It's believed that Quaresma was merely exacting revenge on Ronaldo for a jape the Real Madrid star pulled on him last year that saw his car end up wrapped in aluminium foil.
Whether we've seen the last of this herculean prank war remains to be seen.
