Jordan Pickford scored big at Everton's end of season awards on Tuesday night, with the goalkeeper taking home no less than three gongs.

As well as being crowned Player of the Year for 2017-18, Pickford was also scooped the Players' Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year awards in a clean sweep of the big three.

However, the player who really turned heads on the evening was midfielder Tom Davies.

Indeed, the 20-year-old raised more than a few eyebrows when he turned up at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall wearing a plaid suit plucked straight out of a 1970s detective movie.

Dirty Harry Callaghan called. He says he want's his Glen plaid three-piece back, punk.

That said, surely the decision to go completely sock-less on a brisk night on Merseyside surely ranks as the biggest sartorial crime evidenced here?
