"Kuncito" has moved to the Spanish Segunda side on loan from Independiente, with a €2.25 million option to buy if all goes well this season.

Spurs haggle over Sissoko price

It wouldn't be deadline day without Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy haggling over the price of a player, and this year the star in question is Moussa Sissoko. Newcastle value the France international at £35m, a figure that has put off plenty of others, but Levy fancies his chances. According to the Telegraph, though, he's not willing to spend more than £20m for the 27-year-old French international.

Everton, Crystal Palace and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in signing the midfielder. But in order for Levy's hard bargaining to work, he will have to hope none of them join him in making a late offer and Newcastle decide to cut their losses and sell.

Man City look to offload trio of stars

As the final hours of the summer transfer window tick down, Manchester City are focused on selling rather than buying. Eliaquim Mangala, Samir Nasri and Wilfried Bony all are set to follow Joe Hart out the exit door.

The Guardian reckons Mangala could return to former club Porto, while Sevilla have entered the race to sign Nasri after a deal to join Besiktas failed to materialise.

Meanwhile, the Telegraph links Stoke with a late bid for Bony, who could cost £2m to take on loan for the season. However, the striker's reported £120,000-a-week wages could present a problem with the Potters keen for City to continue paying the majority.

Tap-ins

- Crystal Palace could beat Juventus, Roma, AC Milan, Watford and Bournemouth to the loan signing of Jack Wilshere with the Arsenal midfielder preferring a move that means he can stay in London. The Daily Mail reckons Italian duo Juve and Roma are in the hunt, while the Sun reports Milan, Watford and Bournemouth. The Mirror claims there have been 22 offers tabled -- although all three agree that Palace are the favourites with manager Alan Pardew already meeting Wilshere to discuss the finer details.

- Juventus will complete a successful summer in the transfer market by adding Axel Witsel and Juan Cuadrado to their squad, Gazzetta Dello Sport reports. The Bianconeri may have lost the services of Paul Pogba, but they have signed Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic and Dani Alves among others. And now Zenit and Belgium midfielder Witsel will join in an €18m permanent deal, with Chelsea and Colombia winger Cuadrado set to sign on loan at a cost of €2m.

- Sunderland are eyeing a £6.5m deadline day move for Florentin Pogba -- older brother of Manchester United midfielder Paul -- from Saint Etienne, according to the Sun. The 26-year-old central defender is wanted by David Moyes to reinforce the Black Cats' back line in case Lamine Kone departs for Everton.

- Not content with having broken their transfer record once this week by signing Nacer Chadli from Tottenham for £13m, West Bromwich Albion will table a £32m offer for Watford striker Odion Ighalo, the Mirror claims. To put that into perspective, that is almost 11 times what the Hornets paid for 27-year-old Ighalo just two years ago.

Top Story: Leicester to splash £60m, Chelsea scramble for defenders

Paris Saint-Germain are considering the sale of the Brazilian after his former club tabled a substantial offer -- reportedly £35 million -- to take the defender back to Stamford Bridge, a source close to the French club has told ESPN FC.

Further along in the process is Fiorentina's Marcos Alonso, who the Guardian claims is in London to finalise a £23m move after agreeing to personal terms. The 25-year-old left-back is said to be keen on another spell in the Premier League, having played for Bolton and Sunderland previously, and will fill in for Baba Rahman and Kenedy, who have left on loan.

Meanwhile, Leicester City have agreed to meet Adrien Silva's £38.5m release clause at Sporting Lisbon, while also moving for Algeria striker Islam Slimani from the same club for £30m.
