          Top Story: Luiz back at Chelsea

          Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been searching for defensive reinforcements this summer -- and now he has brought back David Luiz from Paris Saint-Germain.

          The Blues confirmed they have re-signed Luiz from the French champions, with the defender telling the club's official website: "I always had a wonderful relationship with the fans, and I am looking forward to wearing the blue shirt at Stamford Bridge once again."

          Torino confirmed that the transfer had gone through just before the transfer deadline in Italy, despite complications that saw the player stuck in Frankfurt on Wednesday and unable to travel to a planned medical in Rome.

          The Serbian will spend the 2016-17 season as part of Jorge Jesus' side -- the manager Markovic played under at Benfica prior to his move to Liverpool.

          A source told ESPN FC that Markovic performed a "big U-turn" after initially informing the club that he did not want to return to Portugal.

          17.55 BST: Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will join Bournemouth on loan and hopes to revive his career under manager Eddie Howe, a source has told ESPN FC.

          The 24-year-old midfielder is set for a medical on Wednesday evening ahead of signing a deal that will keep him on the south coast for the rest of the 2016-17 season.

          His decision came after a day of speculation over his future had followed Arsenal's sanctioning of a temporary move.
