Deportivo La Coruña 1-1 Cordoba
Florin Andone scored at both ends to ensure a 1-1 draw between Deportivo La Coruna and Cordoba at Riazor. The Romanian striker put the Primera Division's bottom side on course for a first win in 12 games with a goal 10 minutes after half-time.When Depor defender Luisinho was sent off for picking up a second booking it looked like Cordoba had done enough but Andone was blushing before the final whistle having gifted Depor a share of the points late on.The results means Cordoba remain eight points from 17th place - occupied by Depor - and safety with eight games remaining.Without a win in seven attempts and still in real danger of being relegated, Depor pushed hard for the opening goal and twice went close in the early minutes.A swift team move allowed Luis Farina to fire straight at Juan Carlos and Isaac Cuenca was soon knocking after being put through by Juanfran.Cordoba bit back and Borja got Fabricio working after snaffling Bebe's pass in the 27th minute. The rest of the half belonged to Deportivo, who were unlucky to go in at the break on level terms with the visitors.Alex Bergantinos provided the pass that allowed Juanfran to test Juan Carlos and, two minute into stoppage time, Bergantinos returned to slam Jose Rodriguez's pass against a covering Cordoba defender. The Andalusians regrouped during the interval and Bebe signalled their intent with a shot over the bar when play resumed. They kept pushing and got their reward in the 55th minute as Andone grabbed the opener thanks to a fine assist from Edimar.Toche should have equalised when he raced onto a rebounding shot but he missed the mark and, in the 69th minute, Deportivo's task became even tougher.A foul on Fede Cartabia earned left-back Luisinho his second yellow card and his marching orders.Cartabia could have further punished the hosts, only for his attempt on Bebe's pass to end up with Fabricio.Cordoba were looking good and as time ticked away they could see a fourth win of the season drawing closer, but it was not to be.Goalscorer turned own-goal scorer as Andone put through his own net with an unfortunate back heel in the 87th minute.ends
