Emmanuel Cascione's stoppage-time penalty earned promoted Cesena a 1-1 draw at Udinese on Sunday afternoon.Udinese looked to be heading for their fifth win in six games after substitute Bruno Fernandes had put them ahead in the 62nd minute.The hosts, however, shot themselves in the foot after Silvan Widmer brought down substitute Alejandro Rodriguez in the area and the referee pointed to the spot.Cascione made no mistake and beat Udinese goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis to hand his team a share of the spoils at the Friuli stadium.The result has lifted Cesena to 13th in the standings, while Udinese, who are unbeaten this season, have dropped to fourth place.Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni fielded the same starting XI that beat Parma 4-2 on Monday, with captain Antonio Di Natale leading the attack.The visitors had the first chance of the game in the second minute when Franco Brienza fed Guido Marilungo in the box and his effort was saved by Karnezis.Udinese threatened on the half-hour mark when Thomas Hurteaux's header from Di Natale's free-kick went just wide of the far post.Cesena almost broke the deadlock before half-time when Marilungo set up Brienza in the box and his 12-yard shot was kept out by Karnezis.Udinese looked more dangerous after the restart and were rewarded after the hour mark.Di Natale's clever assist found Fernandes in the area and his diagonal strike beat Cesena goalkeeper Nicola Leali.The home side almost made it 2-0 in the 64th minute but Leali made a great save to clear Cyril Thereau's goal-bound effort from 12 yards.At the other end, Karnezis made two crucial saves from Alejandro Rodriguez and Giuseppe De Feudis' close-range attempts.However, there was nothing Karnezis could do to deny Cesena an equaliser late in the game.Cascione struck the spot-kick towards the centre of goal and out of Karnezis' reach.ends
