Granada 3-2 Getafe

Ruben Rochina's powerful strike spared Granada's blushes after they had squandered a two-goal lead against Getafe. Two goals in the space of four minutes from Stefan Scepovic and Moi Gomez had brought Getafe level out of nothing, but Rochina's rising shot in the 77th minute secured a 3-2 win which lifted them out of the bottom three and eased the pressure on coach Jose Ramon Sandoval.Granada had been looking comfortable following first-half goals from Fran Rico and Youssef El Arabi.Mehdi Lacen was unfortunate not to give Getafe a 14th-minute lead with a stunning left-footed volley which struck the crossbar, but Granada were on top, with a fine save from Vicente Guaita keeping out El Arabi's header. They were ahead after 27 minutes when Getafe failed to track Rico's run and he ghosted in to head home Miguel Lopes' cross, and it should have been two when suicidal defending from Santiago Vergini allowed Rochina to snatch possession six yards out only to blaze wide. The second goal soon came though as Guaita could only push Rochina's snap-shot out to El Arabi who fired home as Getafe appealed in vain for offside.Five minutes before the break, Getafe's Alvaro Vazquez inexplicably missed an open goal from two yards out when Damian Suarez picked him out. El Arabi had the ball in the net again after 50 minutes but his overhead kick was chalked off for offside, and the hosts were soon rocking as Getafe staged an unlikely comeback. Both goals came from long balls, the first chested down by Scepovic before he hooked it over the goalkeeper with the outside of his boot, and the second crossed by Suarez for Gomez to side-foot home with his first touch after coming on.Sandoval was still shaking his head when Rochina's rising shot from 20 yards beat Guaita at his near post.ends
