Kevin Gameiro converted a match-winning penalty as Atletico Madrid beat struggling Deportivo La Coruna 1-0 to remain in contention for the La Liga title.
The French striker tucked away a spot-kick after Saul was fouled in the Depor box after 34 minutes.
Midway through the second half at the Wanda Metropolitano, Lucas Hernandez made an excellent challenge to deny Depor what looked like a certain equalising goal as Borja Valle shaped to shoot.
