Barcelona's Dani Alves: 'It would be a pleasure to join Milan'

Barcelona full-back Dani Alves has talked up the possibility of joining AC Milan after helping his club to win the Treble with a 3-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League final.

Alves, 32, looks set to leave Barcelona this summer as his contract expires on June 30 and he admitted that he felt Barca had not shown him enough respect and that half of him had already left the club.

Manchester United are interested in the Brazilian international, but it appears like Alves may be heading to Italy.

"It would be a pleasure to join Milan," Alves told Sky Sport Italia in Berlin. "There is a proposal from Italy and I will evaluate all the alternatives before deciding."

Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi is close to selling a 48 percent stake in AC Milan to a Thai investor, while reports suggest that former Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is set to be named as the club's new coach following Filippo Inzaghi's reported dismissal on Thursday.
