Leeds have signed Sunderland midfielder Will Buckley on an emergency loan deal until January.
Former Brighton player Buckley has been training with Leeds this week and could make his debut when they play Birmingham at Elland Road on Saturday.
The 25-year-old told the club's official website: "I wanted to go out and get some games at a big club, and Leeds was the perfect opportunity for me to do that.
"There was interest in the summer, but after the transfer window closed Leeds were still there and they showed they were keen to get me.
"I was keen to come here and eventually it got sorted out, which I was pleased about. I've got a point to prove that I can get back to the Premier League. To play games and to perform well is my aim now."
Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler said Buckley's arrival gave his squad "some real options in the wide areas now and some good competition for places."
He added: "You can see the quality he's got. He's an established, well-known player who knows the Championship."
