Chuba Akpom to Cardiff City
According to the Daily Mirror, Cardiff City are keen on bringing Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom to the club in January. New Cardiff manager Neil Warnock has made it clear he wants to bring in attacking reinforcements in January and the Bluebirds reportedly lead the list of potential suitors for the Arsenal man.
Bastian Schweinsteiger to Santos
Santos manager Dorival Junior has claimed the hierarchy at his club has spoken to Manchester United's exiled midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger ahead of a potential January move.
"I told them that we should try to get a big name in world football, or at least send an invitation," he said. "It was just a recommendation... It won't hurt us to try. We didn't only speak about Schweinsteiger but other players too. A player like that can obviously lift the level of the team, but he has to come with an objective and an appetite."
Victor Lindelof to Manchester United
Sky Sports claim Benfica defender Victor Lindelof is Jose Mourinho's primary transfer target in January after Zlatan Ibrahimovic extolled his compatriot's virtues last week. The Portuguese manager is prepared to sanction a £25 million move for the Swede and wants to act quickly before Benfica tie the centre-back down with a new deal and an increased release clause.
James McCarthy to Celtic
Brendan Rodgers wants to bring Everton's James McCarthy to Celtic on loan, according to the Herald Scotland. Celtic were linked with McCarthy in August, however, a move failed to materialise but Rodgers' interest in the midfielder didn't wane. McCarthy has lost his starting position to Idrissa Gueye and may be open to a move in the quest for first-team football.
Andrea Belotti to Spurs
Torino's in-form striker Andrea Belotti is interesting Mauricio Pochettino as the Spurs manager looks to solve his goal-scoring crisis. Vincent Janssen has failed to settle since his big money move to AZ Alkmaar and Spurs are heavily reliant on Harry Kane. Belotti has scored 10 goals in 12 games and his form has led to increased speculation surrounding his future.
