Maxi Rodriguez paid a visit to a very special Newell's Old Boys supporter last week, when he dropped in on the club's oldest fan on the occasion of her 105th birthday.
In his role as team captain, Maxi showed up at a birthday party being thrown in honour of Tati Rodriguez (no relation) to pass on the club's best wishes.
He also furnished her with a couple of gifts, specifically a pair of customised Newell's shirts -- one with his name and number on the back and another that commemorated Tati's incredible milestone.

Born in 1912, Tati moved to Rosario at the age of 18, quickly became an avid fan of La Lepra and has been ever since.
She took the time to personally invite Maxi, her favourite current player, to her 105th birthday bash and the midfielder, almost 70 years her junior, duly accepted.
We can only assume fellow Newell's alumni Lionel Messi was busy.
