It proved to be a good weekend for the Ameobi brothers, as both Shola and Sammy managed to get their names on the scoresheet for Notts County and Bolton Wanderers respectively.
Elder sibling Shola netted County's third and final goal in a comprehensive 3-0 win over Newport County that sent them back to the top of the League Two table.

Up in the Championship, younger brother Sammy scored Bolton's only goal in a 1-1 draw against Fulham, giving rise to a fantastically unlikely stat.

Both the Ameobi brothers scored their second goals of the season on Oct. 28, having coincidentally both scored their first goals on the same day too.
On Oct. 14, Sammy got off the mark by scoring in the 10th minute against Sheffield United and Shola opened his account against Barnet just five minutes later.
Spooky... it's almost like they're related or something.
