Pescara have signed former Italy international forward Alberto Aquilani from Sporting, the club confirmed on Friday.
The 32-year-old ex-Liverpool man will have 30 percent of his rights retained by the Portuguese club.

"I am truly happy to be here and never had doubts on what choice to make," said Aquilani.
"I immediately saw the great enthusiasm and desire to bring me to Pescara by both the club and the coach [Massimo Oddo].
"I won't deny that I had many offers, both in Italy and abroad, but Pescara was the right choice."
On the club's Twitter account, Sporting wrote: "We wish Alberto the greatest personal and professional happiness."
Aquilani has been capped 32 times for Italy since his debut in November of 2006, scoring five goals. He scored five times in 32 appearances for Sporting last season.
