Marseille have made Roma midfielder William Vainqueur the third signing of a busy deadline day.
The 27-year-old Vainqueur has joined on a season-long loan as he returns to Ligue 1 for the first time since departing Nantes in 2011.
Vainqueur followed Rod Fanni and Clinton Njie to the Velodrome, with the latter arriving as part of the deal which saw Georges-Kevin Nkoudou head to Tottenham.
Fanni, capped five times by France, returns to Marseille only 12 months after ending a five-year spell at the Velodrome.
The 34-year-old departed initially for Al-Arabi in Qatar, and then spent time on loan at Charlton before finding his way back to the south of France.
With Tottenham completing their long-awaited deal for Nkoudou, Marseille get a temporary replacement in the form of Njie, a 23-year-old Cameroon international who has Ligue 1 experience, having joined Spurs from Lyon in 2015.
