CANCUN, Mexico -- This week Liga MX celebrated its traditional draft, with clubs announcing transfers and signings. Here are some of the major moves.

Rodolfo Pizarro, FW, to Monterrey

Monterrey paid millions to obtain the services of the prized forward. Recently, ESPN reported Pizarro's transfer to Rayados, which became official on June 7.

Carlos Pena, MF, to Necaxa

Despite undergoing rehab for alcoholism, Necaxa is giving Rangers midfielder Pena one more opportunity in Liga MX, following his brief stint on loan at Cruz Azul.

Andres Andrade, MF, to Atlas

After 33 appearances last season, "El Rifle" transferred from Leon to Atlas. In Mexico, the Colombian midfielder Andrade has also played for Club America and Jaguares de Chiapas.

Jose Van Rankin, DF/MF, to Chivas

One of the more questionable players for Pumas last season joins Chivas and will compete on the right wing with Jesus "Chapo" Sanchez. He should serve simply as reinforcements and depth down the flank.

Antonio Rodriguez, GK, to Lobos BUAP

With the arrival of Raul Gudino, the Guadalajara native will go on loan to Lobos BUAP.

William Da Silva, MF, to Toluca

After three full seasons with America, the Brazilian is following Rubens Sambueza's footsteps in Toluca. America made a few moves in the draft that thrived on speed.

Julian Velazquez, MF, to Club Tijuana

Even though Cruz Azul fans wanted Velazquez to remain with the club, the Argentine midfielder will join Xolos de Tijuana.

Carlos Fierro, MF, to Morelia

Some days ago, Monarcas Morelia mentioned his arrival in social media but they made a mistake in announcing early. Eventually, they agreed to terms for Fierro to leave Cruz Azul.

Angel Sepulveda, FW, to Chivas

The Mexican forward is one of the draft's two transfers for Chivas, following 37 matches played in the past year with Monarcas Morelia.

Alejandro Diaz, FW, Atlas

Looking for more minutes in Liga MX, "El Guero" has gone on loan to Atlas. Diaz only played five matches last season.
