Marseille left-back Jordan Amavi accused Neymar of deliberately looking for fouls in PSG's 3-0 Le Classique victory over his side on Sunday.
Neymar was injured in the final quarter-hour of France's biggest rivalry match, rolling his right ankle while tracking a defender in his own half despite suffering no contact.
The Brazil international was the most fouled player in Europe's top leagues heading into the weekend's round of matches, however, and won an additional eight free kicks against Marseille in the lopsided win.
When asked if the Neymar had been targeted on Sunday, the former Aston Villa man told reporters: "We played normally against Neymar. I found him looking for things [fouls].
"I am just telling you what I saw on the pitch. He waited for us to press and then released the ball at the last minute.
"What did he expect? Personally, I do not know, I think he was looking for things though. He reaped a little of what he sowed.
"Everybody knows that he has the talent, but he waited for us to press before releasing the ball."
