Tyler Adams has left the United States camp to rejoin his club, U.S. Soccer announced on Friday, and will miss the March 26 friendly match against Chile.
No player will be called up to take his place on the U.S. roster.
Adams, a RB Leipzig midfielder, played the full match in the U.S.'s 1-0 friendly defeat Ecuador on Thursday as a right-back.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez, who did not play in the game, will travel back to Dallas for FC Dallas' matchup against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday before rejoining the national team in Houston where they will face Chile.
The U.S. also announced that Weston McKennie, who injured his ankle in the win over Ecuador, will remain with the team to receive further evaluation.
