Montreal Impact midfielder Ignacio Piatti is set for another spell on the sidelines after suffering a ligament injury in his right knee.
Piatti, 34, was taken off in the 64th minute of the Impact's 4-2 loss to LAFC on Friday, May 24, and is expected to miss 8-12 weeks.
The Impact have exceeded expectations so far in MLS' Eastern Conference, sitting in third place in the table after 16 games despite Piatti also missing time in April with a different injury.
The Argentine, who has 66 career MLS goals to his credit, started the season brightly scoring three goals before picking up his first injury of the season.
Montreal hosts Orlando City on June 2 at Saputo Stadium (live at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN+).
