More than 3,000 athletes nationwide participated in the 12 Nike Football Training Camps this spring.
And although more than 200 attendees have now committed to FBS schools, and another 800 uncommitted athletes in attendance with offers are still searching for the right school, only 24 could be named to the National All-Nike Camp team.
Note: Selections are based on camp performance as well as past and projected on-field performance. Athletes are in the Class of 2013 unless otherwise noted.
TOP PERFORMER
LB Reuben Foster, 6-1, 246, Auburn (Ala.)
The nation's No. 2 overall prospect in the ESPN 150 entered the Atlanta NFTC with top billing and he cemented his lofty status by earning LB MVP and top performer nods. Foster starred in drills, displaying great short-area burst and explosion, and was very fluid in his movements despite already checking in at a rocked-out 246 pounds.
TOP UNDERCLASSMAN
DL Da'Shawn Hand, 6-3½, 238, Woodbridge (Va.)
There is early talk that Hand could be the top recruit in the country for the Class of 2014, and he showed why at the Baltimore NFTC, displaying the tools to play anywhere on the line. He was outstanding with his hands and showed great ability to get his hips turned while rushing. He had a dominating sophomore year with 21 sacks and already has more than 20 offers.
OFFENSE
QB: Brice Ramsey, 6-2½, 196, Camden County (Kingsland, Ga.)
Breakdown: Ramsey, a Georgia pledge and Elite 11 finalist, took home QB MVP honors at the Charlotte NFTC.
RB: Ryan Green, 5-10, 187, St. Petersburg Catholic (St. Petersburg, Fla.)
Breakdown: Green, who committed to Florida State over the weekend, was the top performer and RB MVP at the loaded Orlando NFTC.
RB: Alvin Kamara, 5-10, 195, Norcross (Ga.)
Breakdown: The No. 56 overall prospect in the ESPN 150 dominated the Atlanta NFTC on his way to RB MVP honors.
WR: Ryan Jenkins, 5-10½, 182, Lassiter (Marietta, Ga.)
Breakdown: Jenkins was a no-brainer MVP at the WR-loaded Atlanta NFTC.
WR: Steven Mitchell, 5-10, 177, Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, Calif.)
Breakdown: Mitchell, who committed to USC last weekend, was the WR MVP at the Los Angeles NFTC.
WR: Laquon Treadwell, 6-3, 195, Crete-Monee (Crete, Ill.)
Breakdown: The ESPN 150 member (No. 42) easily earned position MVP honors and an invite to The Opening at the Champaign NFTC.
TE: Jake Butt, 6-6, 231, North (Pickerington, Ohio)
Breakdown: The Michigan pledge was outstanding at the Champaign NFTC.
OL: David Dawson, 6-3½, 290, Cass Tech (Detroit)
Breakdown: The Michigan commit dominated the Columbus NFTC, taking home OL MVP honors and a top performer nod.
OL: Ira Denson, 6-3, 316, Madison County (Madison, Fla.)
Breakdown: Denson's status skyrocketed after taking OL MVP honors in Orlando, earning an invite to The Opening and eventually committing to Florida State.
OL: Cameron Hunt, 6-4, 263, Centennial (Corona, Calif.)
Breakdown: Hunt busted out at the Oakland NFTC, earning OL MVP honors and a ticket to The Opening.
OL: Laremy Tunsil, 6-5½, 295, Columbia (Lake City, Fla.)
Breakdown: The nation's top-rated offensive tackle was his dominant self at the Orlando NFTC.
DEFENSE
DL: Kenny Bigelow, 6-3, 297, Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, Md.)
Breakdown: The nation's No. 9 overall prospect and USC recruit dominated the deep DL group at the Baltimore NFTC.
DL: Elijah Daniel, 6-4, 250, Avon (Ind.)
Breakdown: The recent Clemson commit was the DL MVP at the Champaign NFTC en route to an invite to The Opening.
DL: Carl Lawson, 6-2, 251, Milton (Alpharetta, Ga.)
Breakdown: The No. 5 overall recruit in the ESPN 150 was unblockable at the Charlotte NFTC on the way to DL MVP honors.
DL: Torrodney Prevot, 6-3, 206, Alief Taylor (Houston)
Breakdown: Prevot, a speedy rush end, was the overall top performer at the Dallas NFTC in March.
DL: Eddie Vanderdoes, 6-3, 303, Placer (Auburn, Calif.)
Breakdown: Vanderdoes combined freakish athleticism with great size to dominate the Oregon NFTC.
LB: Larenz Bryant, 6-½, 204, Vance (Charlotte, N.C.)
Breakdown: Bryant's showing in Charlotte was impressive as any LBs all tour long, earning LB MVP and top performer honors.
LB: Kevin Palma, 6-2, 240, Misson Oak (Tulare, Calif.)
Breakdown: Palma was great at the Los Angeles NFTC and even better in Oakland, taking home LB MVP and top performer awards.
DB: Chris Hawkins, 5-10½, 159, Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.)
Breakdown: Hawkins was named top performer at the Los Angeles NFTC, then announced his commitment to USC post-camp.
DB: Leon McQuay, 6-1½, 182, Armwood (Seffner, Fla.)
Breakdown: McQuay had several interceptions in half-skelly and one-on-ones in winning DB MVP honors at the Orlando NFTC.
DB: Shaq Wiggins, 5-10, 160, Sandy Creek (Tyrone, Ga.)
Breakdown: Wiggins, a Georgia pledge, might have shown the best feet of any DB on the tour this year in winning DB MVP honors at the Atlanta NFTC.
ATH: Holland Fisher, 6-1½, 203, Manchester (Midlothian, Va.)
Breakdown: Fisher starred at safety at the Charlotte NFTC to earn an invite to The Opening, then came back a week later to win LB MVP at the Baltimore event.
