Texas transfer Tevin Mack told ESPN he committed to Alabama on Wednesday night.
Mack visited the Crimson Tide's campus earlier this week.
Mack, a 6-foot-7 small forward, was suspended indefinitely by Longhorns coach Shaka Smart on Jan. 12 and didn't appear in another game for the rest of the season. He received his release from the school in late February.
Before the suspension, Mack averaged 14.8 points and 4.8 rebounds.
He will have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2018-19 season because of NCAA transfer rules.
