The St. Louis Cardinals have placed left-handed reliever Andrew Miller on the 10-day injured list with shoulder fatigue. The move was made retroactive to Aug. 24.
Miller is 0-1 with a 4.76 ERA and two saves in seven appearances this season.
Right-hander Junior Fernandez was activated from the injured list in a corresponding move.
