Sources: Oakland A's keeping 2B Tony Kemp on $1.05M deal

The Oakland Athletics agreed to a deal with second baseman Tony Kemp on Tuesday, sources told ESPN's Buster Olney.

Kemp's deal is worth $1.050 million, sources said.

Last season, Kemp batted .247 with four RBIs in 49 games for Oakland.

In addition to the Athletics, Kemp has played for the Houston Astros and Chicago Cubs in seven MLB seasons. He's a career .235 hitter with 15 home runs and 74 RBIs in 332 games.
