The Seattle Mariners revealed new anniversary patches that will be added to their uniforms, including a patch for their alternate jerseys, during the 2017 season.

The patches will commemorate the Mariners' 40th season; the club was established in 1977.
The patches feature the Seattle skyline, including the city's iconic Space Needle. The years "1977" and "2017" will appear in the top corners, with a large No. 40 in the middle. The Mariners' logo will be inside the zero.
