Boston Red Sox reliever Brad Ziegler has been in town for a only short while since being acquired in a trade July 9, but his three months with the team and the city have made quite an impression.
The 37-year-old right-hander thanked the city, team and fans for his time in Boston in a tweet on Tuesday.

Ziegler went 2-4 with a 1.52 ERA in 33 games and becomes a free agent after completing the final year of a three-year, $15 million deal he signed with the Diamondbacks in 2014.
The Red Sox acquired Ziegler from the Arizona Diamondbacks for two minor league prospects in an effort to shore up a leaky bullpen.
Boston was swept by the Cleveland Indians in their best-of-five American League Division Series.
