Guard Brandon Jennings, who spent last season playing for the Knicks and Wizards, told The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears that he has accepted a one-year, $1.5 million deal to play for China Shanxi.
Jennings started the 2016-17 season with the New York Knicks but asked to be waived midway through the campaign in order to latch on with a contender.
That paved the way for the point guard to sign with Washington.
However, the unrestricted free agent struggled to fit in spelling John Wall while giving Washington some scoring off the bench.
With New York, Jennings averaged 8.6 points and 4.9 assists backing up Derrick Rose in 58 games. He also started 11 games with Rose injured.
In Washington, Jennings' scoring average dipped to 3.5 points per game while he shot just 21.2 percent from behind the 3-point arc.
