Giannis (ankle) out again as Bucks play Cavs

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss his second straight game Wednesday night against Cleveland due to a right ankle sprain suffered Sunday against the 76ers.

Coach Mike Budenholzer said Antetokounmpo is making progress in his recovery but still has soreness, which is why the team is being cautious with his return.

Giannis also sat out Tuesday's win against the Lakers.

The Bucks also will be without Malcolm Brogdon (foot), Pau Gasol (ankle), George Hill (groin), Nikola Mirotic (thumb), Sterling Brown (wrist) and Donte DeVincenzo (heel). Ersan Ilyasova is available after battling illness.

Larry Nance Jr. and Tristan Thompson will be available for the Cavs. Nance hasn't played since March 8 because of a bruised rib, and Thompson has been out since Jan. 16 due to a left foot injury.
