Orlando Magic, Mo Bamba agree to two-year deal, sources say

Former lottery pick Mo Bamba is returning to the Orlando Magic on a two-year deal, sources confirmed to ESPN on Friday.

Bamba, 24, had his most productive year in the NBA last season, averaging career highs in minutes (25.7), points (10.6), rebounds (8.1) and blocks (1.7).

A top-10 pick in the 2018 NBA draft, Bamba played sparingly in his first three seasons but saw his time on the court skyrocket under new head coach Jamahl Mosley. The Magic played Bamba next to fellow young center Wendell Carter Jr., a pairing Bamba's increased 3-point percentage (38%) helped facilitate.

The Magic will now add Bamba back into the mix of a frontcourt that features Carter, All-Rookie forward Franz Wagner and 2022 No. 1 overall pick Paolo Banchero.

Yahoo Sports first reported Bamba's deal.
