Another Phoenix Suns star will join the roster of a popular first-person shooting game.
Devin Booker will be part of the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" lineup with a feature in the video game's third season bundle. His fellow teammate Kevin Durant became a playable character in May 2023.
Booker was featured in the October trailer for "Modern Warfare III" along with rapper 21 Savage.
"Yo rook, where's your squad at?" Booker said in the trailer.
The 27-year-old has made it known that he's a loyal consumer of the shooting game by livestreaming his gameplay on Twitch. In March 2020, Booker was playing the game when he found out the 2019-20 season was suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also uses the game as a form of therapy on some occasions. After the Suns lost Game 1 of the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs to the LA Clippers, Booker revealed that playing "Call of Duty" was his form of relief.
"I just got on "Call of Duty" and blew some steam off," Booker said in a news conference.
His then-teammate Chris Paul followed up with "That's all he do, that's all he do is play 'Call of Duty.'"
Durant was the first NBA player to be introduced to the game as an Operator Skin in the third season of "Modern Warfare II."
The third season of "Modern Warfare III" is set to launch in April.
