The Adelaide 36ers' American import Ramone Moore will miss the rest of the NBL regular season because of a calf injury.
Moore has been placed on the 36ers' long-term injury list after scans revealed a strained left calf suffered in Adelaide's loss to Brisbane last Saturday.
Moore missed four games at the start of the season with the same injury but the fifth-placed 36ers are holding hope he will be available for the playoffs in late February should they make the finals.
The 36ers say they're "investigating the option of a replacement player for the regular season" in the wake of Moore's injury.
Meanwhile, Adelaide forward Majok Deng has been cleared to play against Perth Wildcats on Thursday night after suffering a rib injury last weekend.
Scans on Deng revealed a strain in a joint between the ribs and cartilage in the front of the rib cage, but no fracture.
