Boomers call-up David Barlow has a back injury and will miss Thursday's much-anticipated basketball clash with the United States at Marvel Stadium.
Barlow was only drafted into the squad on Tuesday to replace Jonah Bolden, who left the national team this week because of personal reasons.
Coach Andrej Lemanis said on Wednesday he's hopeful that Barlow will be available to Saturday's second game against the US, also in Melbourne.
