Brisbane Bullets centre Matt Hodgson returns

The Brisbane Bullets have announced Matt Hodgson will return to the side for the NBL21 season.

Originally accepting the NBL and Australian Basketball Players Association deal to explore opportunities overseas, Hodgson explored European playing opportunities before deciding to return to the Bullets.

"It's great to have Hodgy back as a Bullet," CEO Peter McLennan said via a statement. "Matt's already had an impact in Brisbane, playing 57 games since joining our club in 2018.

"He is one of the most talented big men in the league and is an important part of our roster make-up."

Hodgson averaged 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in NBL20 and also secured six double doubles.

Hodgson joins Will Magnay, Nathan Sobey, Cameron Gliddon, Jason Cadee and Tyrell Harrison as contracted players for the coming season.
