Dale Earnhardt Jr. has landed a TV gig in 2018.
No, it's not NASCAR.
The driver and Amy Earnhardt, his wife, will transform a dilapidated house in the Old Town district of Key West, Florida, into what the DIY Network calls a "modern retreat."

The cable network will air four half-hour episodes that it hopes will combine the NASCAR star's passion for home improvement and Amy Earnhardt's expertise in interior design.
The shows will air in early 2018, according to the network's news release.
"Amy and I are excited to take on our first home renovation project together," Dale Earnhardt Jr. said in the news release. "Amy is a fantastic designer. She has creative ideas and a strong work ethic.
"We love DIY projects around the house, and so I expect this to be challenging but fun."
The home has structural damage, faulty plumbing and ancient wiring.
"We've seen how Dale Jr. races a car, so we're confident that with Amy's help he will easily navigate the typical trials and tribulations of a home renovation," said Scripps Networks Interactive senior vice president John Feld.
Earnhardt will retire from full-time NASCAR Cup Series competition after this season and is exploring what to do in his post-driving career.
