LONDON -- Serena Williams may not have her hoped-for final against sister Venus, but she has a chance to avenge her Australian Open final defeat by Germany's Angelique Kerber and equal Steffi Graf's Open-era record of 22 major titles.

The cornerstone of Serena's success throughout her career has been the quality and power of her first serve.

Kerber
The German hasn't got the serving power of her final opponent but she is hard to get past. She has made an impressive 85 percent of her returns on the way to Saturday's showpiece, helping her break serve 28 times.
