Stanford's Nadia Fingall, Oregon State's Kat Tudor out for season

Two players from top Pac-12 women's basketball teams -- No. 6 Stanford's Nadia Fingall and No. 11 Oregon State's Kat Tudor -- have been lost for the season because of knee injuries suffered in games Friday.

Fingall tore the ACL in her left knee in the Cardinal's victory over USC. The 6-foot-3 junior forward was starting and averaging 8.0 points and 4.9 rebounds for Stanford.

"It affects us a lot," Stanford coach Tara VanDerveer said. "She was playing really well -- she was rebounding, scoring, making great passes. It hurts us."

Stanford also currently has forward Maya Dodson (foot) out, although she is expected back this season.

Tudor injured her left knee in the Beavers' victory over Washington State. The 6-0 junior guard was averaging 12.3 points and 4.0 rebounds coming off the bench for the Beavers.

"It's devastating for her and for us," Oregon State coach Scott Rueck said. "It's miserable. It's up to the rest of us to figure it out and fill in the gaps."

Oregon State is down to nine players, as it also lost 6-2 junior forward Janessa Thropay to a broken finger on her left hand on Dec. 29. She is expected back this season.
