Badgers eye Huskers as end-of-year rival

Who will become Nebraska's top rival in the new Big Ten?

Wisconsin is poised to make the first move.

Badgers head coach Bret Bielema tweeted Saturday morning that he's already contacted the Big Ten office about having Nebraska as an end-of-season rival for Wisconsin. The Badgers currently rotate who they play at the end of the year, finishing the past two seasons with powerhouses Cal Poly and Hawaii.

Bielema might be the Nostradamus of expansion. Earlier this spring, he tweeted about wanting to add Nebraska and Notre Dame to Wisconsin's future nonconference schedules.

Now he doesn't need to worry about the Huskers, as he reiterated on Twitter Saturday. Is Notre Dame next?

Naming suggestions for a Wisconsin-Nebraska rivalry game? What about the Barry Bowl, in honor of former Nebraska player and former Wisconsin head coach (now AD) Barry Alvarez?

I've got a feeling Wisconsin won't be the only Big Ten team making a push for a rivalry game with Nebraska. Penn State and Iowa are bound to get on this, too.
