March Madness has arrived for prep boys basketball

Madison, Wisc. -- With the WIAA boys basketball playoffs tipping off on Tuesday night, following are a few predictions for which teams will compete at the Kohl Center in Madison March 14-16 for one of five state championships.

For the second year in a row, teams are seeded at the state tournament level.

Oshkosh North (Division 1), Kaukauna (Division 2), Prescott (Division 3), Manitowoc Roncalli (Division 4) and Bangor (Division 5) are the defending champions.

Thursday, March 14:

Division 3 Semifinals 1:35 p.m.

Division 4 Semifinals 6:35 p.m.

Friday, March 15:

Division 5 Semifinals - 9:05 a.m.

Division 2 Semifinals - 1:35 p.m.

Division 1 Semifinals - 6:35 p.m.

Saturday, March 16:

3-Point Challenge - 9:30 a.m.

Divisions 5, 4, 3 Championships - 11:05 a.m.

Division 2 & 1 Championships - 6:35 p.m.
