Florida adds fourth DB to class by landing Chris Henderson

Chris Henderson, the 10th-ranked athlete and No. 131 player overall in the ESPN 300, committed to Florida over Miami and Alabama on Wednesday.

The Gators desperately needed defensive backs in this class after losing Quincy Wilson and Teez Tabor to the NFL. With Henderson on board, along with Shawn Davis, Brad Stewart and Marco Wilson, the Gators have four commitments from ESPN 300 defensive backs.

After landing Tedarrell Slaton and now Henderson, Florida has eight commitments from ESPN 300 prospects and 21 commitments overall.
