          Post-signing day Pac-12 Power Rankings

          With signing day in the books, here's an updated look at how the Pac-12 power rankings will look in 2017:

          1. USC: USC already sat atop these rankings the last time we did them and proceeded to bring in the Pac-12's top-ranked class. There is early-impact talent, but it will be tough for any true freshmen to earn early playing time.

          2. Washington: The Huskies remain the favorite in the Pac-12 North after signing the nation's No. 23-ranked class.

          3. Stanford: This class was rare for Stanford in that it brought in several players who could help right away. Both offensive tackles, Foster Sarell and Walker Little, figure to be contributors this season as the team looks to re-establish a dominant offensive line.

          4. Washington State: The Cougars' class ranked just No. 45 overall, but the impact these classes have in the short-term is minimal. With quarterback Luke Falk returning, Washington State still figures to be a contender in the north.

          5. Colorado: In Boulder, on-field success has translated to improved recruiting. The Buffaloes added size across the board, including No. 3-ranked junior college defensive tackle Javier Edwards, who checks in at 6-foot-3, 345 pounds.

          6. Utah: Four junior college transfers -- all of whom are top-10 players at their posisiont -- mean the Utes should see immediate benefits from this class.

          7. UCLA: As we pointed out in the last power rankings, UCLA has the talent to be ranked higher, but after their 4-8 season, the Bruins don't get the benefit of the doubt. Defensive end Jaelan Philips has star potential and is the early favorite for Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year.

          8. Oregon: It has been a rough go on the public relations front since coach Willie Taggart took over, but it didn't seem to negatively impact recruiting. The Ducks' top-25 class bodes well for the future but wasn't enough to have the Ducks leap much higher here.

          9. Oregon State: Did the Beavers find a solution to their quarterback issues with No.-4 ranked junior college quarterback Jake Luton?

          10. Arizona State: The biggest news for the Sun Devils is that quarterback Blake Barnett will be eligible to play in the season opener.

          11. Arizona: The Wildcats added 23 players to their young roster, but if any of them are able to make a meaningful impact that results in more wins they will end up being labeled diamonds-in-the-rough.

          12. California: Justin Wilcox has put together an impressive staff, but Cal's late decision to fire Sonny Dykes didn't give the new group enough time to put together a class that can help right away.
