22. Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford
2011 numbers: Fleener finished as the Stanford leader in receiving touchdowns with 10, while hauling in 34 balls for 667 yards.
Preseason ranking: Unranked.
Making the case for Fleener: Anyone else noticing the rejuvenation of the tight end in the NFL? Fleener is the prototype. He's 6-6, 250-pounds and has surprising speed for his size. It's no surprise he's being talked about as a potential first-round draft pick. With the exception of the Oregon game, when he had a few uncharacteristic drops, his hands were solid and consistent. He had arguably the best individual play of Stanford's season with his one-handed touchdown snag against UCLA and he was a total nightmare for cornerbacks and safeties. Combined with the other two-thirds of Stanford's "Tree Amigos" -- Zach Ertz and Levine Toilolo -- the three wreaked havoc on opposing secondaries. If he lands in the right spot, Fleener should have a very productive NFL career.
