Our countdown of the Pac-12's top 25 preseason players in 2013 continues.
A lot of good players, as it happens every year, won't make the preseason list. It is in their hands to make the postseason list.
You can review our 2012 postseason top 25 here.
18. Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG, UCLA
2012 numbers: Su'a-Filo was the line's leader for a Bruins offense that averaged 34.4 points and 466.5 yards per game, including 165.4 yards rushing per game.
2012 postseason ranking: Unranked.
Making the case for Su'a-Filo: Su'a-Filo was quickly back to form in 2012 after serving a two-year Mormon mission, earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors and some All-American attention. While the young Bruins line often struggled last fall, particularly on the edges, Su'a-Filo was typically dominant inside, the guy leading the way for RB Johnathan Franklin to rush for 1,734 yards and average 6.1 yards per carry. The 6-foot-3, 305 junior has started 27 career games, including 13 as a true freshman in 2009 at left tackle, is a likely early-round NFL draft choice if he opts to leave early.
