Dynamic duos: SKT's Bang and Wolf face Samsung's Ruler and Core JJ in bot lane

For SK Telecom T1 AD carry Bae "Bang" Jun-sik, this weekend means everything. Although a longtime part of the SK Telecom organization and a part of its World Championship-winning 2015 lineup, Bang has often been overshadowed by his fellow SK Telecom carry player, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok.

In the past month, Bang has proven that he too is not a player to overlook as he has cemented himself as arguably the best AD carry in the world. Bang has his best shot to win the most valuable player award for the entire tournament should SK Telecom T1 win the World Championship again this year.

Together with SK Telecom support Lee "Wolf" Jae-wan, also a 2015 World Champion, Bang offers power that complements the remainder of his team, specifically mid laner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok and its two junglers. And if SK Telecom T1 were a boxer, Wolf offers the first punch that allows Faker and Bang their window of opportunity.

But don't count out Samsung's duo of Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk and Jo "Core JJ" Yong-in. Ruler, a rookie whose Worlds appearance this year is his first international tournament in what looks like the beginning of a long and successful career, has proven to be a consistent carry for his team. As for Core JJ, a former AD carry player moved into the support role, he too has shown he's capable of being what his team needs. Samsung's style is that of team play and its bottom lane exemplifies that style.
